Greetings!
We are facing some challenges while trying to connect an Android device to QSE November 2018 using MSFT Intune EMM. We can get the config to the point where the QSE server name appears listed in the QSM screen on the device, but the connection fails with a msg that reads like “Failed to authenticate using OAuth”.
As mentioned earlier, the QSE version is November 2018. There is no instruction page for integrating Qlik Sense Mobile with Azure and Intune for the November 2018 version. Are the instructions in the help page for integrating with Azure and Intune in April 2019 valid for that version as well?
In any case, while we were configuring the Intune environment we found a couple of differences between the instructions in the Qlik help page and the options provided in the Intune config screens.
First of all, according to the instructions bellow, we were supposed to find an option to select the Qlik Sense Mobile apk file, but the Intune config screen only provides a field to enter the URL to the corresponding App store:
Second, according to the instruction bellow, we were supposed to delegate permissions to the two APIs marked in yellow:
Unfortunately, these two APIs do not appear listed in the Intune config screen. Only the entries for MSFT Azure AD and MSF Graph appear in the list to the right of the screen bellow:
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Cheers,
--José
Hi José
The documentation should be instructing you to enter the URL of Qlik Sense Mobile on the Apple App Store:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/qlik-sense-mobile/id1217049362?mt=8
I have entered an internal bug report to have the documentation/help fixed.
The second issue is a Microsoft Azure Portal behaviour. To see additional choices start entering text in the search box.
If you still have problems please comment back!
Peter
Hi Peter!
Thank you very much for the follow-up. I imagine that the second line, where it says "The Web App / API defined above", the instructions are referring to the name given to the app when registered in the AAD.
BTW, we can currently access the hub from the mobile device using a browser. Both the external and internal URLs work OK. However, when using Qlik Sense Mobile, we are getting an error message related to OAuth (please see image attached). Do you think that this might be related to the activation of the APIs mentioned in this thread?
Cheers,

Hi José,
Yes the Web Api is QSE webapi.
To further debug this, could you enable QSM detailed logging, reproduce the login error then send the logs to me (peter.fowler@qlik.com)
