Send out an email from Qlik Cloud

Hello,

In Qlik Cloud is there a way to send an email from a Qlik Load Script?

What I did in the past is use the Qlik SMTP Connector and GMail to send an email when running on-premise.

Currently? There aren't good options here. The traditional approaches (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Architecture-Deep-Dive-Blog/Getting-Notified-from-Qlik-Sense/ba-p...) rely on Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows specific components, APIs, or techniques. There is an initiative to add alerting capabilities into Qlik SaaS but in the interim the most obvious alerting style mechanism that I am aware of would be using WebHooks (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Sense-Documents-Videos/Calling-Webhooks-i-e-Slack-Microsoft-Teams...) to connect to Slack / MS Teams.

Alternatively it's always possible to call a bespoke RESTful endpoint which would send emails (think AWS Lamba to SES) but that is impractical for most organizations.
