Active Directory Group and Section Access

SO...

I am using an excel with the following columns

ACCESS, USERID, GROUP

I have success allow or denying users into an app by using ACCESS and USERID, but No luck using GROUP with Active Directory Group

I have tried using just the AD Group name and the comma delimited LDAP string.

Where is clear documentation with examples?

I originally thought that the AD Groups could be defined and used for an app from the security level...any clear documentation with examples would be helpful.

Hi @shoffer

Our documentation in Qlik Help has different examples:

Managing security with section access

Call me dense, but I need some literal help.

Based on my examples, can I use and Active Directory group with Section Access?

There does not seem to be any clarity, to me.

If I have an active directory group called MY_Sales...can that be used for section access?

What is the format to reference the section access.
