Product Launch Announcement - QlikView 12.10 and NPrinting 17.2.1

We are pleased to announce the general availability of both QlikView 12.10 and Qlik NPrinting 17.2.1.

QlikView 12.10

QlikView 12.10 offers a number of new capabilities aimed at increasing enterprise scalability and manageability across all product areas, while improving product quality and stability.  With these improvements, QlikView is even stronger and more capable of supporting expanded numbers of users and applications for Qlik’s enterprise customers.

Improvements include:

• Improved QlikView Server scalability and support for unbalanced clusters

• Enhanced AccessPoint performance and scalability

• Publisher load balancing and high-load performance improvements

• Elastic site expansion APIs

• Desktop and connectivity improvements

Qlik NPrinting 17.2.1

The  corrected NPrinting 17.2.1 installation files are now on our download site and ready for use!

Qlik NPrinting 17.2.1 is primarily a stability release and includes a number of important updates.  Additionally, Qlik NPrinting 17.2.1 now supports two new languages - Italian and simplified Chinese.

Please note that due to an outstanding compatibility issue between NPrinting 17.x and QlikView 12.10, we recommend customers using both products wait for QlikView 12.10 SR1 to upgrade their QlikView environment.   We strongly recommend that you backup your NPrinting repository database before upgrading to 17.2.1, failing to do so may result in roll back failure.

As always with any software upgrade, please make sure you backup your system before applying any updates and be sure to read the attached release notes before installing or upgrading!
