AJAX with uid/pwd prompt error

Hi,

I am trying to open ajax page but keep getting this userid/password prompt, please see attached file.

In the qemc, the server security is set as

authentication - prohibit anonymous

anonymous account - local computer

Does this setting result in the prompt? How do I fix this problem?

Hi

This is a network/server problem.

Look at the bottom right part of the lower status bar in internet explorer and you see it says "Internet", this is the security zone. Windows does not allow passthrough authentication unless the zone is set as intranet.

I suggest you talk to your network people how it is set up or set your internet explorer to have the qlikview server as a trusted server, that will solve it.
