Due to the database architecture in our company, I am exploring options how QlikView/Qlik Sense can connect to MS SQL database without using username/password authentication.
Can Active Directory Managed Service Accounts (MSA) be used to connect MS SQL server? This method was suggested by DBA.
When using AD MSA, we would not be able to see or change passwords as they are managed by AD controller. Would that cause an issue with the data connections?
The QlikView and Qlik Sense services can be run under this account if required.
I have been informed that direct database access credentials are not an option for us.
