My factory has 02 management system MES and SAP which works independently
1. MES to control production
- It calculate the total material consumption of production
- Every 10 minutes it send a report to SAP about consumption
2. SAP To control warehouse stock
- It bases on MES report to calculate supply quantity
- It will trigger the reorder quantity that is rounded down to Handling Unit (it means the supply quantity less than Handling Unit, there will no supply quantity)
The problem I don't know how to calculate the left over quantity in production bin at the mean time we prepare quantity to supply so that I can avoid the shortage materials for production
