Backup QV models

Hi all,

I am thinking about a method to backup my version of qvw's,

the problem is that when doing it manually, i need to :

1. open the qvw

2. reduce the data

3. save it in another folder

4. create a word document that describes the changes

5. name it as version 1.x.y

6. and so on....

is there a tool that helps me automate this?

thanks in advance

Dear Nir,

QlikView by default create backup file, here is the way.

Menu "Settings" > User Preferences > Tab "Save" > Checked to check box "Use Backup" > Keep Last 5 Instances > Apply > OK.

Now when you save the file, it creates the backup file.

Kind regards,
