Best praxis, move out Publisher

Hi!

I have seen environments in both alternatives. If we have one environment today with both Server and Publisher (with a lot of task) and should move out the Publisher to a new machine, which alternative is the “best praxis”? I suppose alt 1 is the easiest way to go but alt2 is more “best praxis”?

Right or wrong?

If you setup a totally new environment where we should have two machines (QV S and Pub). Is Alt 1 still the best way?
