Hi!
I have 2 qlikview documents (QV12.20). In one document I can create server bookmarks and when I close and re-open the document, the bookmarks are still there (as expected). In the other document however, the bookmarks have dissapeared when I re-open the document.
Settings in both documents and qmc seem the same, but I might be overlooking something. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
When you create the bookmark in the second document, ensure that the .shared file associated with the document is updated. You can even use the shared file viewer in PowerTools to make sure that the bookmark you created is there if you wish.

If the .shared file is not being updated, look for errors in the QVS Events logs. Probably something with "Blob" in the error message. That indicates a corrupt shared file, which you can fix by following this article:
The best thing to likely do is run the cleaning command on the shared file in question, I would also recommend converting your shared files to tshared if they are not already tshared. Here is Help link that should give you everything you need to check the file and clean it if there is a problem:
It would appear to be an issue with the file, just FYI, as the bookmarks will be stored in memory for the session, but once the session is closed, if things have not successfully been written to the shared file at that point, they will be gone forever at that point. Hopefully this helps explain what you are seeing.
Regards,
Brett
