Can't add Named CALs anymore


Today I was trying to assign a Named CAL to a user the same way I did in the past and it did not work.

The QVS's authentication is NTFS and I have unused licenses to this user.

I can click the icon to assign new Named CALs and search for the user I want, and get to the screen below.

But when I hit "Apply", the user vanishes and I am not allowed to assign the CAL.

Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?

Hi there,

What you did seems right and how QMC responded is also correct. The user has now been assigned a license. Once he opens any of the dashboards there would be a timestamp under 'Last Used' until then it will be blank. For some reason as soon as you add them it assigns '12/31/999' as Last Used and when you hit apply it disappears which makes sense because you just assigned so there wont be a Last Used.

Anyways the user should now have a named cal. Ask them to open a dashboard.

Remove the user. Restart the services and try adding the user again
