Cannot acess dashboard

Hello Everyone

I have a problem with Qlikview Accesspoint.

I  hope anyone can assit and help me with this problem.

I've a environment and all Dashboards works good through the Accespoint. However there is only one dashboards that gives an error when i try to acces them. The error is: "Failed to open document. You don't have access to this document. 19"

When i try to open the document the Qlikview Desktop APP, i got the same error when chose the option 'open in server' but when i open the file from the unc path in works fine,

The environment Exist of Qlikview and Publisher with several qvw. All works wel except one.

We have already disable Section access for this qvw.

Is anybody able to assist how this may be happening?

Kind Regards

Access rights within the active directory are a complex matter and therefore your deduction from your personal access to the server-user access mustn't be mandatory true. Therefore I suggest that you used the service-user to open the application with the desktop client.

Beside this make again a check that the section access is really disabled - commenting this part + disabling the document settings and making then a reload + saving the app - and then trying to open it again.

Hi @Jio,

I'm moving this thread from the Qlik Sense > Deployment & Management forum to the QlikView > Administration forum so that your question reaches its intended audience.

Regarding the error you are reporting, have a look at Qlik Support article A QlikView document fails to open with the error Failed to open document. You don't have access to t....

I'm not sure but I think the error doesn't belong to the section access because the normal message there is just that the loading failed but not hinting to 'no access' and the 19. If you opened the app with the desktop client which user did you take - the server user or a personal one? If it was the last it could mean that the server user has no proper access rights to the file itself or maybe the prj-folder (in the case they were in use).

Hi Marcus,

thanks for you're response.

I'am using a normal user account. This user account and the service user both has  modifiy rights on the qvw.

So this means i can open the qvw file in the desktop app by using file open..but i cannot open the file when choosing file-->open in server. Als oi cannot open the file theough the Qlikview Access point

This is the only qvw dashboard that hasthis issue.

Any new help will be appreciate.

Regards

This works for me well. I can open the QVW in the accespoint and i can access it with section access enabled for a Active Directory users.
