QlikView Server was installed on a machine with the name "X". The name of the machine was changed to "Y". QlikView Server still works well if I am looking into Computer Management / "Services" and also it allows users to connect and use the QVWs very well. The problem is that QMC and QEMC are showing that the services are not running anymore, so I can't change any of its settings (like changing user cals). I thinks this happens because QMC still shows the old name of the server, even though I uninstalled and then reinstalled QVS. Anyone has an ideea about how to solve this situation? Re-installation doesn't work, or maybe I should clear some additional files/registries before a new installation.

The QlikView Administrators group is local in your machine, so check that it exists and has properly set users members and the account used for the running services is in this group.

By Changing the name of server the old name of server which is registered during installation is not changed.
os you have to remove QVS and reinstall it.
I face same issue when i changed administrator name.
