Conditional formatting in bar chart

Hello guys

I need to automatically set a different color in a bar chart.

I know that a formula can be set to determine the color, but this works (as far as I know) on the total amount of the expression.

In my example the expression is shown based on the dimension value:

Customer Var
A 14%
B -3%
C 7%
D -11%

 

So I want bar on customer B and D on a specific color (as they are <0) and the other on a different color.

If I set the formula it works on the total amount of "var" (which is positive and gives me the same color for all customers).

Did you apply the color-expression within the attribute-expressions - means by background-color by clicking on the small + sign by the expression?

Easy as it seems!

No, I was inputing the formula in the "colors" tab. Thanks a lot 🙂
