Data in memory

Hello everyone,

When someone opens an application, the data which is contained in the application. So if my application relies on a qvd of x KB, it needs m + x KB of RAM ?  where m is an amount of memory related to the application itself (complexity, number of graphs...) .

Am I right ?  how can I calculate the needed ram ?
