Deploying QlickView Desktop via Intune

My company is trying to deploy a QlikView Desktop update from 12.0 to 12.90. Ive packaged the exe (also tried the msi), but after updating and the user runs the app, they get an error:

From running on another test device with admin rights, it seems it pops up an option to select the Interface Language when you first launch. Which is being blocked if the user doesnt have admin, causing this error.

Ive been unable to find any doc on how to best deploy this application. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi @ITGuy1,

What happens if the QV Desktop installaiton is run as an Administrator?

Suggest you review the installation log - QlikViewx64.wil, located in the temp folder of the user who ran the installation. If possible, upload the log here.

Best Regards

As its being deployed via intune, It is being installed as administrator. Otherwise the install itself would fail.

Just to be clear, the install itself is fine. When you run the app for the first time after you install it, you get those errors.

Quick update. If install the new version manually with admin creds, it launches fine. It appears to have an issue installing using System from Intune.
