We have decided to include our QV application and QV Server in our disaster recovery plan, this is how we see it going in a actual disaster.
· Lorry turns up
· Restore 'core business'
· Re store internet connection
· Download & install QV server / Plug-in
· Restore backup of apps
Sounds simple !!
We would like to test this plan in our next DR rehearsal, for obvious reasons, unfortunately we don't think we can do this as we have the one server licence and it is already installed on another box and is being used. Is there a 'correct' way that we would be able to test our disaster recovery situation ?
