Is it possible to distribute a Qlikview Application without publisher? If yes, please let me know the workarounds.
Hi
Can you be more specific..
What do you mean by distributing?
is it do you want end user to give access?
or is it like you want to send it via email?

I want to distribute the Qlikview Applications to Accesspoint.
Wanted to know without QEMC is it possible?
Similarly other than accesspoint, what are the different ways in which you can distribute the reports to the end users.
That is the default way that QV makes the applications available to your end users.
Once QV Server is installed and running, if you go to
http://<your Server Name>/Qlikview
You will be at the QV Access Point and able to get to your documents.
Hi
You must have to use QEMC.
But yes you can make an application available to end user via access point without using publisher.
First of all place your application in qlikview root folder.
You can set that in QEMC --> system --> setup --> qlikview server--> folder--> set the root folder here, Or you can place the application you created in the root folder which is there by default.
Secondly go to that particular application right clikc on it go to security tab --> add the user to whoom you wana give access.
save close and restart the services.
Now the end user will view that particular applicatio.
Other then access point you can send the report by attaching application to their email. But for this you need publisher license and as well as PDF distributer
Hope that helped

Thanks Ashfaq for your reply.
Is it possible to define a root folder without a QEMC (Since root folders are defined in QEMC Alone).
