Document CALs

Good day guys,

I hope you can help me.

We have always been able to search for users using the Manage Users screen. We used to type the username in the "Search for Users and Groups" field and the user popped up in the Search Result, however this doesn't want to work anymore.

We now have to manually assign a user by inputting him into "Manual Input of User Names".

We are using SBS (Build: 11.20.12235.0)

Can someone please assist with this?

Hi Bertrand,

I found the issue thanks. An individual's user account was used when QlikView Server was installed on the new server and this password has changed.

Hi,

First, you have to check your DSC. Go to System > Setup > Directory Service Connectors and check path you are using to get your users depending on your settings. If you have SBS, I presume it should Active Directory or Local Directory. You may have lost the connection with AD.

Tell us after this if anything has changed.
