Document has no bookmarks on iPad

Hi,

I am running QlikView v.11.2

I am running iPad v 8.1

When using the QV app in online mode, I set up some dashboards the way I want them.

I tap the bookmark icon and they list in the bookmark queue.

When I tap the Download function, the refeshing spinner spins, but then returns with This document has no bookmarks.

But it does have bookmarks, as shown in the screenshot above.

Any ideas how to make the bookmarks appear in the download queue?

Thank-you,JV

Hi,

Bookmarks are stored in .shared filed om server.

If you download it on mobile for offline analysis.

Here you will no more be connected to server in turn no connection to shared file.

and hence no bookmarks are shown for your offline analysis.

Hope it helps

Hi Ashfaq,

Thank you for answer.  Something is not clear, as the QlikView Mobile Client - Quick Reference Manual v 11.20 SR6 seems to show that I should see the bookmarks.

I add the bookmark as shown on page 9.  I have the same screen appearance as shown on page 9.

But I get lost on page 10.  How do I get, "The following iOS dialog... " to come up?

How do I get the Offline Setting dialog box shown on page 10?

Thank-you

JV

Hm... it seems that bookmarks are common issue in QV since we faced with it too (on PC) with 11.2 SR10 12742 and 12758 and I saw many posts with unsolved questions unfortunately.

Hi,

You don't state what release of 11.20 you are running.

Kindly ensure the following conditions are met to be able to work offline
1. You have logged on to an Access Point.
2. The Offline Service is installed and started.
3. The document has the attribute "Offline" = TRUE. (This is set up by the QlikView Management Console administrator
through the Source or User Document configuration.)

Hell Bill,

Not sure whom you're asking, but as for my post, I saw that on 11.2 SR10, both releases 12742 and 12758.

But in our case bookmarks do not work on PC, please give a look at Add Bookmark web dialog issue - no OK button

It does not depend on browser, no OK button in each we tried.

I hope this can be fixed some how.

Best regards,

Maxim

Hi Guys,

I got the download functionality working on the iPad app. I hadn't the Offline Service installed (Presumed it was either included in the QV Management Console install or iPad app).

The Offline Service file can be downloaded from the Qlik website.

Thanks

Hi, I am facing the same issue! Has anyone found a solution? Or, may I know the program configuration and version of somebody who can download bookmarks without problems?

Thank you!
