Edit a SHARED file?

My company is going through an ADMT domain migration (merging with parent company domain) so all of our usernames are changing.  Is there a way to edit the SHARED files for each of our qvws so that users can keep the custom objects they have created?

We are in a similar situation. We just downloaded Powertools. It looks like it will work.

It's document by document, but there is a abatch file feature that we haven't had time to try yet.
