Hi @jtj02080208,

Is this issue intermittent or does the same task fail each time it is run? I have seen this error returned when the QVS is very busy. Suggest you follow Vegar's good advice and start with permissions and if they are all correct, investigate the QVS performance so that you can understand if communication between QDS and QVS is timing out because QVS is too busy.  Start by reviewing the QlikView Server Event logs and the Windows Event Viewer Application and System logs.
