The above occurred on a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 box running QlikView Server v10 SR3, 32GB RAM.
Has anyone ever encountered the above errors before? I am testing out an upgrade to QlikView v10, and I just started getting this error while reloading one .QVW file. I had three successful scheduled reloads of this file before I started getting these errors. The logic in the file is very basic, it is a simple SELECT from a table in a local SQL Server Database that contains approximately 110,000,000 records. Both times that the script errored out, it pulled just over 27,000,000 records before failing. The odd thing is that it went ahead and wrote the data that it pulled to the .QVD file. Normally, when I have a script error out, all of the data is lost (unless this is a new function of QlikView v10, that data is written to the .QVD file as it is pulled?).
I just completed a succesful reload of this script in QlikView Developer, so the issue must be with QlikView Server. Any suggestions?
Any solution??
have you verified that the account running the qlikview distribution service has all the access it needs to talk to the sql server?
Yes, it does have the required access to the SQL database. I have other scripts accessing the same database. This particular reload ran three times prior without issue, and it ran last night without issue.
very weird.
any signs of the computer being heavily loaded at the time of the failure or something like that?
The first time the error occurred, there were other processes running but the machine wasn't maxed out. The second time, it was the only thing running. I agree, it really doesn't make sense. What I really don't like is that it's not consistent, which makes it even harder to diagnose.
i would try and get in touch with qliktech support with this case tbh.
cheers
Did you find any resolution to this issue. We are seeing the same messages. The QDS service becomes stopped in QEMC. This is causing grief with our weekend downloads.
Thanks,
JS
Hi,
I believe this ended up being a packet issue while pulling data from an oracle server (sorry I am not certain, we had several issues occur at once). I decreased the fetch size in the oracle connection and this alleviated the error. My understanding as to why this was only an issue when reloading through the server application is how the server app handles multi-threading the reloads, it seems too much data was being pulled at a time and the server app couldn't handle it. Hope this helps!
Hi All
I too have the same issue while running an incremental load batch.
the batch had run successfully for past few days ,but in one instance it got failed with below error.
Looking out for any solutions for this issue. Plz advise.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Sathis,
Have you found the solution for this error?
