Hi,
my server often gives me bck "No Connection" error while accessing documents thru web browser.
Server has 128GB of ram and generally has 30-50GB occupied by QlikView server.
Whay happens that error?
It doesn't seem a RAM issue.
This is a typical issue which I have faced quite a times in my daily work. Generally it loses connection to the server and tries reconnecting after the dashboard is idle for some time. I haven't come across to any concrete soln. However, I can suggest few workarounds-
Personally, this has reduced no. of times occurrence of this error for me. I hardly get nowadays.

Qlikview server - No connection error
I think it might be because of the same user logged into the accesspoint from two or more systems at the same time.
This might also cause problem in accessing the file in the accesspoint.
Thanks, I'll try to do that. I'm trying to reduce QVW file since they are huge. I'll then try to check for thoes reports.
Hi.
Thanks for the reply. I'm sure it's not cause of the same user logging multiple times. I got that error, sometime, even after a server reboot and trying to connect with my personal user, when everybody else are cutted out.
I'll check out the other link.
Thanks
Okay, that will be also an aid in solving this issue. I have a similar application because of which we were getting the error. To solve it, I had split the application into two halves containing historical data set and rolling 25 month data set. Helped is some way as it reduced RAM as user mostly needs the current data.
If you happen to have Anti Virus running on the server make sure you exclude all of the QlikView folders from the scan. Anti Virus can cause this error also by locking files that are needed.
