Event ID 112, Error, How to fixed it?

Hi, all:

I got server 9.0 7320 log, like this:

Total memory exhausted. Attempting recovery...

Event ID 112, Error

Any idea to fix it or find the reason?

Hi,

This means that the memory get exhausted in the server, you need to add more RAM or switch to a 64-bit server.

Is there any other solution as we can't change from 32-bit to 64-bit.

I'm using Qlik version 7.52.

sometime i can open the files as a client but sometimes can't.

Hi,

You can try to add more RAM into the server, but if you get that the RAM is exhausted then it is the memory that has run out. As you might already know as well, windows 32 bit does not support more than 4 Gb of RAM either, and if you want the 32-bit server to show you 4 Gb you need to turn on a switch in windows, you can find information about this if you google a bit on the 4 gb switch.

I also would like to take the opportunity to inform you that version 7.xx is not supported any longer, and it would be a good idea to upgrade if you at any point need support.

better use x64 bit server just to make sure instead of adding more ram and eventually exhaust it..
