Exporting Current Selections to Excel via AJAX

Looking for a solution for exporting current selections along with tables in AJAX.

I have been able to accomplish this in IE, however, we need a solution for AJAX.

We need to be able to facilitate both IE and AJAX export of current selections along with tables.
