Failed to open document

Hi All,

I am facing issue in access point when trying to open the .qvw it shows error

"Failed to open document, you don't have access to this document"

Security is not present in application.

Please check whether for document section access is implemented ?

if  yes then check user And password.

Hi Sumita,

   Check the Section Access User list whether he/she is there in list, if you have implemented the section access in that document.

Security may not be implemented in your QVW, but did you accidentally check "Initial Data Reduction based on Section Access" in Settings->Document Properties->Opening?

In that case, uncheck it and save your document again.

Hi All,

I have changed the name of QVW and reloaded the file. Issue is resolved.

hi ,

i am facing below issue ,please help me team. i have tried from fav.. like open with out data . Rennamed the file open with different location .but still same issuse.

Hi @saranccet,

I suggest that you start a new thread regarding your issue as it doesn't appear to be the same issue that the author of this thread had.  Also, this thread has been closed for approximately six years, so a new one would be best.  Be sure to include the full QlikView version (i.e. 12.50.20300), if the issue is occurring in QlikView Desktop or when using QlikView Server/AccessPoint, along with the exact steps you are taking when the issue occurs.
