How to QlikView New Account Creation

Hello, Qlick Administrator,

I am sending this email because I would like to receive guidance on creating a new account. If possible, could you please provide instructions for the following:

1. Creating a new account to log in to the Qlik Management Console (QMC)
- How to grant administrative privileges

2. Creating a new account to log in to the AccessPoint
- How to grant administrative privileges

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide guidance on the above-mentioned topics.

Thank you.

Hello  @qwebnm,

You do not need to create any user, the user are fetched from your Active Directory, for example, then they are authenticated and authorized to access the dashboards on the Access Point.

If any needs to be an Administrator then the user must be a member of the local QlikView Administrators group. That is a windows user group on the server you installed QlikView Server on.

Kindly review - Administering QlikView | QlikView Help

That said, also check if would make sense to plan your migration to Qlik Cloud:

Start | Migration Center Help (qlik.com)

Cheers,

Albert
