Hi,
is it possible on a Qlik View Server with SLK to assign a capacity analyser license?
How can i do this without a sense server?
In the Help i found this, so i can assign when no other License is possible, but how you can do it the other way around?
How dynamic assignment works:
When dynamic assignment is enabled for both Professional and Analyzer access types: a user logging in is automatically assigned Professional access, if available. If not available, the user is assigned Analyzer access. If Analyzer access is not available, the user is assigned Analyzer Capacity access. If Analyzer Capacity is not available, the user cannot access QlikView.
When dynamic assignment is only enabled for Professional access type: a user logging in is automatically assigned Professional access, if available. If not available, the user is assigned Analyzer Capacity access. If Analyzer Capacity is not available, the user cannot access QlikView.
When dynamic assignment is only enabled for Analyzer access type: a user logging in is automatically assigned Analyzer access, if available. If not available, the user is assigned Analyzer Capacity access. If Analyzer Capacity is not available, the user cannot access QlikView.
Or do i miss something?

I'm not sure I follow. By rule, Capacity licenses are used when no other license is assigned but the user should have access. Pre-assigning them seems like it would defeat the purpose. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
In a new environment, I might want to define it beforehand.
Again, I don't quite follow the "why" of it. I can't think of a reason you'd want someone to use up a Capacity token if they have a Professional or Analyzer license in the first place.

@C-Hopf To you answer "why" to use Capacity analyzer
Capacity Analyzer License (CAL):
Capacity licenses are used when no other license is assigned. That is professional or Analyzer. "When dynamic assignment is enabled " only works as long as you have available licenses to allocate if none are available it resolves to Capacity. So to avoid running our of Professional or Analyzer license you should assign them manually and disable "dynamic assignment"
I hope this explains the why you would use Capacity license and how it generally work.
Best Regards
Yes, i have understood how it works.
But what do i do, when i do not want to let everybody in?
I only want to assign some People to get a capacity License. Like i do on Sense!
Is that possible?

Analyzer capacity license is only used when a User is actively working with a document. Users that does not have access to any documents can't use capacity license, since they can't open any documents. It works pretty much the same as session CALs
Ok, let me ask something else. When i see User1 with an analyser license only log in 2 times a year. And other Users consume all my contingent of the capacity license. How can i give a capacity license to User1? Or other Users that does not use it often? Should i "hope" the analyser goes to the correct users?
You can manually assign individual licenses, but not Capacity. So you would need to manage your CAL assignments for the individual types, and then Capacity will go to whoever is left.
like in Qlik Cloud, you can't limit the access to capacity.
But, is there capacity license in QlikView at all? It's a new type of license in Qlik Sense only I thought.
