How to create a batch file

Hi

Can some tell me how to develop a batch file??

I want to create one batch file for reading data from file say 'file.txt' and this  'file.txt' contains user information like username, his/her ID, name of the application he/she has accessed etc.

While on the outside they may look similar, in the inside are quite different. QlikView Desktop is a development tool, Qlik Sense development is done in the server by using a browser. 

Command line was useful when you worked in your laptop, now with clients and server, there is no more need for that. Actually, if you are using it instead of QlikView Publisher (also known as QlikView Distribution Service), you are missing functionality, and I would reach out to your Partner Manager at Qlik so they can do a demo.
