How to enable reload option in QMC


Dear All,

We have Qlikviewserver without publisher. But we cannot see Reload tab, when we select .qvw from Documents-->UserDocuments.

Does this reload tab will automatically come or do we need enable some where else in System--> Setup tab?

Please suggest

Hi,

Did you used Publisher here before and cleared publisher license recently .. why because, i too faced this issue.

First take backup of Management Service folder (C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService)

then follow the steps below

1.)    Stop all the Qlikview services

2.)    Go to the Qlikview folder.

%ProgramData\Qliktech\ManagementService

3.)    Remove the PublisherLef folder.

4.)    Remove the Reginfo.txt file.

5.)    Remove all the file in QVPR folder  

6.)    Then, try to restart all the services.

It sounds as one of the folders/settings in System > Setup > ... are not right/ not pointing to your .qvw

Hi,

Go to QMC->User documents->select application -then you will see 4 options.

Thank you all for your replys. Unfortunately I cannot see any reload tab on right side after selecting the qvw under user documents.

Another option is to make .bat file and run in task schdular

.bat file contains below code...

@ECHO OFF

"C:\Program Files\QlikView\qv.exe" /r "Path of your qlikview file"

ECHO Application Reload Completed!
