Hi Everyone,
I never experienced IIS and on the client end they're using IIS services for deploying QlikView application.
Anyhow, I've deployed the application and now see the application on the Access point. However, still we didn't connected the application with the data source.
Now, the question is:
I'm having multiple QlikView files namely, A Data Extractor, A Data Transformer, Data Model & The Main Application. So, if I've to schedule the Extractor, Transformer and Data Model to be refreshed at a particular time and then the Main Application to be refreshed; How can i achieve this using an IIS services?
Please advise me on this.
Regards,
Zain Shaikh
I dont think we can schedule applications using IIS or may be I am wrong..
You can achieve this using windows scheduler by creating a batch file and scheduling the same, But in this you cannot distribute the application from source documents to user documents like the way publisher does.
Go through this link to see how you can reload using a batch file.
Hi Zain,
you would just do this in QMC, nothing more complicated that that should be required.
Best Regards,
Andy
