Hello, We have a customer who is still on Windows 2012 SR2, so he needs to upgrade to a newer version and to do this he would like to reinstall qlikview on a new server. Until now, he's always had physical servers, as Qlik doesn't recommend virtual servers, but now he'd like to use virtual servers.
Is it possible to install Qlikview on virtual servers?
Both technically and in terms of the Qlik support contract.
They also want to upgrade their Qlikview version to the latest version available.
Although QlikView are fully supported, it is important but not surprising to note that support of any interactions or issues that arise at the hardware or operating system layer as a result of the use of virtualization is the responsibility of the customer and/or the hypervisor vendor.
