Invoke a QlikView Task via HTTP call or Web Services

Hello everyone,

I have a task on QlikView, and I would like to invoke it for start it via webservice.

I know that in QlikSense it is possible via HTTP Rest Api. In QlikView how can I do it?

Check out QMSEDX. It uses a Web API and SOAP calls to trigger tasks with an "external event"-trigger in the Distribution Service. The source code is included and will serve as an example of how to implement a technique like this.
