Does a qvf file, which is used for binary load, consist of indexes?
Hello @parviz_asoodehfard !
Thanks for posting.
If you perform a Binary load and the fields are kept on the data model such fields will be indexed at the end of the load.
Or were you asking if you perform a Binary load and the Indexing is disabled if those would be transferred?
I hope this is useful information for your query.
Cheers!

To be honest, I forget the reason I asked this question after 14 months.
Sure, thanks for coming back on my reply.

Hi Albert, the second question you are talking about here is precisely the question I was about to ask : how does the indexing work with binary load? Can I disable the indexing in my model app to help with refresh time ? the indexing will still be done in the visualization app ? And if I want to exclude only specific fields for indexing should I do it in model and it would be same in visualization app? or should I do it in both layers ?
Many questions 🙂
Thanks in advance!
Hello @ngetal_93 ,
Thanks for posting!
Those are excellent question and I suggest to move such into a Qlik Sense forum instead and there we can resume the conversation with the rest of the Community. Please, do let me know once you have posted the new conversation into a Qlik Sense forum.
Cheers,
