Is it possible to mount a network folder?

We would like to share some of our QVW documents with 5 different servers. Copied the QVW documents to netwrok shared drive. And in QlikView server, mounted a folder with path in the format as - \\machine_name\folder_name\

But this didnt work. Also tried by mapping this folder as one of the drive. And then in QlikView server pointed the mount folder to this new drive. This didnt work as well..

Is it not possible to mount a new folder in QlikView server which points to network shared folder?

Its 8.20.5402.2

give the attached directions a shot. In versions prior to 9 some specific settings had to be made on the service account running qvs.

Its high time for us to swich to QlikView 9! The document has 22 pages of instructions

These directions do work. I used them for our internal systems when we are on 8 inside QlikTech .
