Licence Lease Issue

Hi All,

I am trying to lease a licence on a qlikview desktop but its not working.

When i use Open in Server option from Qlikview desktop the it prompts

for the password and after that it opens a window which shows a folder name

with name IP of Server on which QVServer is installed. But licence is not getting

applied on the Qv Desktop.

Any Ideas why this is happening?

if you want to search in qmc try using Star (*)  and your name between them. ex. *Natasha*

I am having a similar issue whereby I logged onto one machine (machine a) and leased a license and viewed a document on access point.  I see these sessions in the history.  However, when I try to lease a license from another machine (machine b) it stays in Personal Edition mode.  Is this how the license lease should behave?  Is there a way to remove my license details from machine a so I can lease it on machine b?

I believe you can only lease a license from two different machines, once you try to lease it from a third machine you won't be able to.

The only way I know to remove past leased licenses information is to remove the CAL, wait for the quarantine period to finish and reassign it.
