Hi All,

When attempting to lease a license from the server with the Qlikview Desktop client, the following Windows message is appeared on screen:

This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy.
Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy application and correct the problem.

As per Qlik the error message is not a Qlik standard error message, but a Microsoft Windows error prompt that indicates a resource conflict between two processes in the operating system. One of the processes is not releasing the resources required for the operation, We have also tried by restarting the server which is provided as a solution in Qlik Article.

Please provide your valuable inputs.

Have you reached out to MS support about the Windows error?  Found the two below entries when Googling the error:

I believe your best course would be to contact Windows Support.
