My tasks desapeared

Hi, I´ve bought Qlik View Publisher and receive the new key from Qlik Tech. When I applied the new key, all my reload tasks desapeared.

Anyone can help me find them, as I didn't have a copy?

Is there a way to transfer all to publisher?

I know I was stupid, but it is done and I really need a help.

Hi,

Publisher creates in the Documents tab of the QEMC two types of documents, Source Documents (documents that are reloaded, reduced and distributed) and User Documents, those produced as a result of the previous, and that are available to the users.

Until now, you only could perform reload tasks, now you can perform more complex tasks, and you will need to add them again to the Source Document that was a User Document so far.

Do you have a backup of the folder C:\ProgramData\QlikTech before installting Publisher to check the XML files? Check anyway the C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\Tasks folder.

Sorry I didn't get to you in time but glad you are back and running.

For the future, converting server reload tasks to Publisher tasks is done using the "Reload Schedule Migration Tool" found in the Power Tools.
