Hello All,
We are developing QV applications in a shared environment, where QV enterprise edition is installed.
Since this is a shared environment, we are facing problems when some applications occupy memory > 100 GB.
We are to monitor the memory stats from task manager and kill the application manually, to check the problem
Other users observe a slowness in the mean time.
Hence, without manual intervention, is there any way to stop a QV application from loading further, when its memory usage exceeds a certain limit which can be set?
Thanks!
You could limit the ram usage through the settings from "Working Set" - qmc/system/setup/performance. But in general a qv server shouldn't run in a (real) shared environment - fix ranges of cpu + ram will be needed.

Hi Sri,
This has been a requested feature in the pass, but in has not be included into Qlik. I am sure you can search the web and find a utility to do what you are looking to do. I remember on called KillProcess, that will kill tasks based on the settings you setup.
