Peformance with Plugin or Ajax

Dependingon the application / infrastructure more or less as the Plugin directly communicate with the QlikView Server and the Ajax Client haveto go through the Webserver.

In a default scenario, the difference in performance has to be small, there may not be much variation, correct?

In the most basic of scenarios, the difference in performance between AJAX and IE Plugin will be minimal, yes.
