Hi Support,
I need urgent help on the below mentioned.
Facing the port confliction issue between IIS and QVWS (QlikView Webserver) on port 80 which is not allowing to run the QVWS. We have also tried changing the port settings from QMC (QlikView Management Console) and config file of QVWS but still it is not functioning properly.
Details: Installed QV Server 11.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 where IIS 7.5 was already configured using microstrategy services.

Hi Raj,
check any other services running using 443
QVWS listens by default on 443 and 80 too.
it seems qlikview 443 is also getting conflicted by some other services may be microstrategy or apache
check that in that case you have to change 443 of that other services as you can not change qlikview 443 listen.
follow below link that may help

I checked and found that earlier port value 8080 was already used by tnslsnr.exe therefore I have changed it to the 8090 by which this service is able to start and functioning properly on the server.
I am able to access the access point using http://localhost:8090/qlikview/index.htm and able to see and anlyze the example documents.
but if I tried from internet http://pulic ip:8090/qlikview/index.htm, it is not responding.
Can anybody help me in this regard.

Raj Kishor

hi RAJ,
YOU HAVE TO CREATE A INBOUND RULE SAME AS YOU DO FOR PORT 80.
SO CREATE A INBOUND RULE FOR 8090.
REGARDS,
ANANT
is there skype installed in your system.
uninstall and try.
hope this helps
This should not really be an issue. If IIS was installed first and then QlikView the installation would have setup the IIS port sharing feature. This allow QlikView to run on port 80 and IIS would hand off the traffic to QlikView.

443 is used by IIS
445 by Windows SMB services...
first next option is 446
