Solved: Problem IE plugin with a public IP Via Internet - Qlik Community

Hi all!

We have just installed a QVS and we are trying to use it within Internet via a public I.P.. When we try to access the server with the Full Browser Version (Ajax) we don´t have any problem, but when we try to access it with IE Plugin, Server shows this error:

We have opened traffic in port 80 and 4747, any idea of why we are experienced this error?

Hi,

The IE plugin works off port 4747 and that will need to be open in the Firewall and point at the QVS server. You will also, need to put the outside address into the Link Machine name.

The is done in the QlikView Management Console under settings>>Qlikview Server.
