QLIKVIEW SERVER 8.50 PERFORMANCE ISSUE

Hi all,

One of my clients is facing performance issues with QV Server 8.50 ... the SERVER machine has got 48 GB of RAM, but still it runs very slow due to the fact that the process 'QVS.exe' utilizes 35 GB of RAM! That too, this happens even if there's only one active document with just one active user!

Please help! This is a critical issue as the machine belongs to their production environment ..

Hi,

what build is the Qvs.exe? Actually we had a severe performance problem with Qvs.exe 64 bit before build 6220.

Hi,

QVS will often "grab" a % of the available memory - even if it is not in use. There should be no performance issue of QVS using 35GB on a 48GB machine - unless you are trying to run other processes?

The % that QVS assigns is configurable in the server control panel.
