QMC Invalid Request Parameter Error

Hi,

We are receiving intermittent "Invalid Request Parameter" error messages when updating task triggers, adding users to tasks and looking at/review tasks details on the QMC, this then loses all the changes you have made.

Any help, advice appreciated?

Thanks,
Dean

Hi @mccook,

I don't believe those QMS errors are related to the message you're receiving from the QMC.  Often, resetting the QlikView Distribution Service folder can clear up these types of messages.  The Qlik Support article How to recreate the QlikView Distribution Service folder details the steps in how to perform this action.  Doing so will not effect the task schedule except for the historical data in QMC > Status > Tasks will be reset under the columns on the right-hand side.  If you continue to experience this issue, suggest you reach out to Qlik Support and raise a case.

Hi @mccook,

What version of QVS are you running?  Were there any recent changes to this environment?  Version upgrade?  Can you share what you've found in the QMS logs?

Hi @Chip_Matejowsky,

Thanks for your response, the version we are on is (assuming I found the right place):

I've just turned debug logging on today, but the errors of the past with basic logging seem to be this one (if this is related):

Error Request failed: System.Security.SecurityException: Invalid cross-site request forgery token. IP address of the sender: ??.??.???.?? | at QMS.BackstageWebServer.PreventCrossSiteRequestForgery(HttpListenerRequest request, XmlDocument document) || at QMS.BackstageWebServer.HandleRequest(HttpListenerContext context) || The Zone of the assembly that failed was: || MyComputer

Thanks,

Dean
