QMC Status - "Waiting for node"

Hi, Recently installed 12.5 SR4 single node instance of Qlikview server that generally runs fine.  Frequently (2-3 times a week) the QMC shows several job "Waiting for node" when there are no actual running jobs. The workaround is to restart all QV services (just the distribution service is not enough). On restart the QMC emails failures of models that were not showing as running, but evidently were and causing an issue. Verbose logging is enabled but  not showing anything obvious. Any suggestions to diagnose this issue would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi @sangland2,

Suggest that you review the QlikView Management Service (QMS) logs for warnings/errors.  By default, the QMS log is located in %ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService\Log.  The logs are split daily & have a naming convention like 20210330.txt, so find a log entry for a date when when the issue occurred and have a look.

Not seeing anything useful in the logs yet. ManagementService\Log files had very little in them. I have increased QMC Logging level.

Hi @sangland2,

If you're not getting any helpful information from the debug level QMS logs, suggest you open a case with Qlik Support so that you can have a screen-sharing session and develop a plan of action to address this issue.
