QV11 No Server issue

Hi Guys,

We are running with QV 11.2 SR3 on our platform with IIS Server as our web server.

Currently every morning we would hit a series of issues that include
From QVIISWebServer
- QVClient.Execute failed
- System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
at System.Threading.Monitor.Enter(Object obj)
at QlikView.AccessPoint.QlikviewServerSetting.Try[T](Func`2 f, Func`1 fail)
at QlikView.AccessPoint.FileScan.ScanQlikViewServerClusters(IEnumerable`1 servers, Action`2 logger, IUser user, Int32& liveQvsCount, Boolean respectBrowsable)

From ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0
- Event code: 3001
Event message: The request has been aborted.
Event time: 6/13/2023 9:02:28 AM
Event time (UTC): 6/13/2023 1:02:28 AM
Event ID: 9a805117d9bf495ab390ba746f9d8de2
Event sequence: 1281
Event occurrence: 8
Event detail code: 0

Application information:
Application domain: /LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/QvAjaxZfc-1-133310825491403903
Trust level: Full
Application Virtual Path: /QvAjaxZfc

Sometimes a restart of QVS and QVWS could not work unless after a few rounds, and this error would be keep on going mainly on a particular of time frame (mainly morning 8 -11)

Understand this is an old legacy system but hopefully there could be some clue on the event.

Cheers guys.

@bevankwong good morning. Not sure exactly what event is going on between 8 -11 am in the morning in your environment. But No Server error message in Accesspoint means that the QVS and IIS webserver are not able to communicate.  Do you have any background process running on the IIS webserver or QVS server during that time period?

Here is a KB article that will assist you in troubleshooting further: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/QlikView-Organized-way-to-troubleshoot-quot-...

I definitely recommend you upgrade to the later, supported version of QlikView in case support case is needed.

If the issue is solved please mark the answer with Accept as Solution.
