QV9 - Passing Parameters using IE Plugin

Hello,

Using the 8.5 version , I was able to pass a parameter in the URL to set a variable in my application.

I am upgrading to the versin 9 and I do not succeed in doing the same thing.

Here is the URL I am using

http://xxxxxx.com/QvAJAXZfc/AccessPoint.aspx?open=&id=QVS@MACHINE%7Cdata/xxxx/Setup_Viewer.qvw&client=Plugin&Viewer=Lieu

Is there anything wrong in it or is there an other wayr to do the same thing.

Thanks

Philippe

Philippe,

As far as I know, the only parameters that can be passed through the Plugin URL are: USERID, XUSERID, PASSWORD, XPASSWORD, and MACRO. I don't think you can pass a variable anymore in version 9.

From Page 185-186 of QVS Reference manual of v9 it shows parameters should be possible.

May be you want to try qvp:// instead of http:// and see if that works for you.

Let us know.
