QVServer service fails to start - Operation Failed: 2

Anybody ever receive a 'Operation Failed: 2' error when trying to start QVServer?

I'm installing the QV Sever x64 version 8.50.6261.5 on Windows 2008. I've already registered the server license, but the service won't start.

It would be good to have a table with the possible server error numbers and the common causes of each error number.

Thanks, Pover

Hi Pover,

You need to disable User Access Control (UAC) when registering QVS on Win2k8. You can later enable UAC again, once you registered and started the service correctly. Currently this is a WAD
