QVWs are saving in different folder - Qlik Community

Hi All,

Greetings for the day!

I have multiple documents in my project and for each QVW we have separate folder. I have to distribute tasks into that folder.

After task completes some QVWs are saving in correct folder and some are saving into different folder.

I have checked Mount Folders and task Distribution folders and all are mapped to correct folders but some files are saving in wrong folders.

I am new to this QMC activities could you please anyone help me here.

Assuming you have a Publisher license (otherwise you cannot direct the distribution), how are your documents distributed? Distribute to Server or Distribute to Folder, or a mix of the two?

Hint: check the Distribute tab in each document task.

Hi there,

Also make sure your task isn't pointing to the "root folder" on the distribution tab. If it is, it would save at the location you have specified in the QVS process (via the QMC, Highlight QVS@server, folders tab, Root Folder)
